Mad River Canoe produces a product with over centuries of history that has been present in some of the most majestic landscapes that exist on earth. The legacy of the canoe begins long before our Mad River came along, and will last long after we’re gone. We feel much the same way about being stewards of environment and passing on something that generations ahead of us can enjoy as much as the generations before us did. This means a concerted effort on all of our parts to leave things better than we found them.

That’s why Mad River Canoe is launching some exciting programs in 2009 and beyond in sustainability, green construction techniques, and partnerships with other environmental organizations to make sure we’re being the best stewards of our resources possible.
